We have also evolved geographically. From one base in San Pedro Sula, today we have a presence in every principal coffee-growing area in the country, including a processing factory in the city of Villanueva, Cortes.
Through the Olam Livelihood Charter we are supporting farmers to become more resilient to issues such as pest, disease and climate change, as well as improving overall yields and quality.
We employ nearly 100 people across 11 locations.
“The name of our new coffee mill is “La Fortuna” (“Fortune” in English) and, as the name suggests, we expect to have a lot of good fortune and success with our new facility in Honduras.”
