Selecting the finest regional cocoa beans and using the latest processing technologies, we bring the famous flavours of West African cocoa to the world.
PROCACI was established in Côte d’Ivoire in 1978 by IC State & SUCHARD. In 1987 the company was privatised and renamed Unicao. In 2009, a cocoa processing facility was built in Kumasi, Ghana to diversify and expand Unicao’s operations. The new facility allowed Unicao to offer cocoa products from a single-source origin as well as to process cocoa beans into cocoa liquor for use in a wide range of applications.
In 2015, the Unicao brand became part of Olam's cocoa portfolio. Additional processing facilities in Abidjan and San Pedro, make Unicao our African origin cocoa brand of choice.
