On 15 July 2009, 198,685,532 and 74,773,468 new ordinary shares (“Shares”) of Olam International Limited (“Olam”) were allotted to Breedens and Aranda respectively pursuant to a subscription agreement dated 30 May 2009 entered into between Olam, Breedens and Aranda.

Temasek holds all issued shares in Temasek Capital (Private) Limited which in turn holds all issued shares in Seletar Investments Pte Ltd which in turn holds all issued shares in Breedens and Aranda.

In addition, an associated company of Temasek, DBS Group Holdings Limited (“DBSH”), has a deemed interest in 6,695,643 Shares, by virtue of Section 7 of the Companies Act (Cap. 50).

Accordingly, Temasek has a deemed interest in an aggregate of 280,154,643 Shares (being all Shares in which Breedens, Aranda and DBSH have an interest) representing approximately 14.08% of all Shares in issue.
