TAKEOVER OFFER FOR SHARES IN NZ FARMING SYSTEMS URUGUAY LIMITED
Olam International Limited (the “Company”) refers to its announcement dated 18 July and 9 August 2010 (the “Announcements”) in relation to the offer by the Company to acquire up to 100% of the issued ordinary shares in the capital of NZ Farming Systems Uruguay Limited (“NZFSU”) which the Company does not already own (the “Offer”) and the despatch of the offer document (the “Offer Document”) in connection with the Offer. Further to the Announcements, the Company had on 24 August 2010 announced that it had increased the cash consideration payable under its Offer Document and the revised Offer price is NZ 70 cents per share. In connection therewith, the Company has today despatched a supplemental Offer Document to the shareholders of NZFSU. A copy of the supplemental Offer Document is attached to this announcement.
