    Chris Brett joins high-profile panel at Resilient Supply Chains Conference


    Olam’s Global Head of Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability, Chris Brett was invited to speak at the World Bank’s Resilient Supply Chain conference, where he joined a panel session to discuss “production losses and supply chain disruptions driven by climate change induced volatility”.

    Held on the 19th October in the Grand Connaught Rooms, London, this conference focused on how farmers and the food industry can tackle the shared challenge of climate change. Chris was joined on the panel by Chris Brown, Senior Director Sustainable Business at ASDA, Biswaranjan Sen, Vice President of Procurement – Chemicals at Unilever alongside others and discussed our global efforts to improve supply chain resilience, drawing specifically on examples such as our Bia/JuaBeso project in Ghana and the water management and organic matter improvements to our almond orchards in California.
