Olam wins gongs for Mama Africana, Mama Gold and Sunseed in 5th annual Best Brands in Mozambique awards
Olam Mozambique triumphed at the Best Brands in Mozambique awards, with Olam brands scooping awards for Mama Africana and Mama Gold in the rice category, and Sunseed in the oil category.
The judging process included more than 27,000 nationwide consumer interviews, 45 consumer-centric sector analyses, and evaluations of more than 350 brands to help decide the winners. The award winning brands cut across the consumer chain from upper through middle class, and represent the hard working African woman who takes care of her family. These brands are preferred because they are familiar and affordable, with a pleasant aroma, appearance and quality.
Best Brands of Mozambique is a prestigious project run by DDB Mozambique and Intercampus. Now in their 5th year, the awards represent a benchmark for marketers in the increasingly competitive consumer market in Mozambique
