Olam International Limited wishes to announce the incorporation of the following wholly-owned subsidiaries in the People’s Republic of China:
(a) Name : Olam Shanghai Limited
Registered Capital : US$1,000,000
Principal Activity : Sourcing and supply chain management of agricultural
products and food ingredients
(b) Name : Olam Shandong Limited
Registered Capital : US$1,400,000
Principal Activity : Sourcing, processing and supply chain management of
agricultural products and food ingredients
The incorporation of the subsidiaries will be funded through internal resources and is not expected to have any significant impact on the financial position of the Group for the current financial year.
None of the Directors or substantial shareholders of the Company has any interest, direct or indirect (other than through their shareholdings in the Company) in the above transactions.
