(1) Incorporation Of Subsidiary And (2) Change Of Name Of Subsidiary
Olam International Limited (the “Company”) wishes to announce the following:
(1) INCORPORATION OF SUBSIDIARY
The Company has incorporated a subsidiary in the Republic of Cote d’Ivoire known as Mantra Ivoire S.A. (“Mantra Ivoire”), with an authorised capital of 200,000,000 Francs CFA divided into 20,000 shares of 10,000 Francs CFA each and paid up capital of 65,000,000 Francs CFA divided into 6,500 shares of 10,000 Francs CFA.
The principal activities of Mantra Ivoire are those of processing and supply chain management of agricultural products and food ingredients.
The incorporation of Mantra Ivoire is not expected to have any significant impact on the financial position of Olam Group for the current financial year.
None of the Directors or substantial shareholders of the Company has any interest, direct or indirect, in the above transaction.
(2) CHANGE OF NAME OF SUBSIDIARY
The Company’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Texturegate Investments (Private) Limited has changed its name to Olam Zimbabwe (Private) Limited.
