Olam International Limited (the “Company”) refers to the announcement dated 27 August 2007 made by the Company in connection with the acquisition of 100% equity interest in Key Foods Ingredients LLC and its subsidiaries (the “Acquisition”).
The Company is pleased to announce that the Acquisition was completed. Following the completion of the Acquisition, Hong Kong Key Foods Ltd becomes a direct wholly owned subsidiary of the Company and its subsidiary, Qingdao Key Foods Co. Ltd becomes an indirect wholly owned subsidiary of the Company.
None of the Directors or substantial shareholders of the Company has any interest, direct or indirect in the above transaction.
