Olam’s Café Enrista supports Nelson Mandela International Day, 2014

In 2009 the UN officially declared the 18th July as Nelson Mandela International Day. In commemoration of the 67 years that he spent trying to make society a better place. This year’s Mandela Day encourages us to devote 67 minutes to helping others.
Café Enrista, a brand under Olam’s Packaged Food business, Caraway Foods, will be participating in the 67 minutes for freedom challenge. In a joint venture with Xpedia and Feed a Child Foundation, volunteers will be distributing 3000 sachets of Café Enrista’s hot chocolate to create a hot drink for 3000 children in 67 minutes, in a bid to create a Guinness World Record. The children are from children’s homes in the Gauteng area.
