Two of Olam’s scholarship partners have been awarded top rankings in the Financial Times’ Global MBA Ranking 2017. INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France took first place and Harvard Business School in Cambridge, Massachusetts, came fourth. Last year they were first and second respectively.

The Financial Times Global MBA 2017 is published in the FT’s Business-Education supplement and recognises 100 worldwide institutions that run full-time global MBA programmes committed to providing global perspective, diversity and entrepreneurial learnings to candidates.

INSEAD and Harvard Business School are just two of the internationally acclaimed universities ranked in the report which, along with London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy in Singapore, facilitate the Olam Scholarship.

Cornell University, which won the first Olam Prize for Innovation in Food Security, was ranked 27, up four places from 2016.

The Olam Scholarship offers candidates, who must be nationals of Sub-Saharan Africa, the opportunity to study development economics (LSE), business management (Harvard and INSEAD) or public policy and administration (Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy), with the view of contributing their learnings to their country or region at the end of the course.
