    World Cocoa Foundation Partnership Meeting 2018

    Olam Cocoa’s CEO Gerry Manley and Head of Cocoa Sustainability Simon Brayn-Smith will participate at this year’s World Cocoa Foundation Partnership Meeting in São Paulo, Brazil, taking place on the 24th and 25th October.

    Drawing from over 30 years’ experience in cocoa, Gerry will discuss the topic of ‘The Cocoa Sustainability Journey – from West Africa to Brazil’, alongside Nira Desai, World Cocoa Foundation, Britta Wyss-Bisang, UTZ / Rainforest Alliance, Uilson Lopes, CEPLAC. Simon will share insights from Olam’s Living Landscapes Policy in a panel discussion focused on “Fighting Deforestation With a Landscape Approach”, with Daniela Mariuzzo, IDH-The Sustainable Trade Initiative, Joseph Larrose, Touton, Judy Rodriges, High Carbon Stock Approach, Eduardo Trevisan, Imaflora. Both conversations will be held at 11:15am – 12pm at the Av. das Nações Unidas São Paulo, Brazil.

    Building on last year’s theme of moving forward the sustainability agenda of the cocoa sector, this year’s event will explore “The New Frontiers of Cocoa Sustainability”.
